I am married to Beverley and have three children who have all spent some time training with me.

I started training in karate 15 years ago to train with my son. He has since stopped but I have continued to this day. During that time I have trained in Shukokai and Wado Ryu.

I gained my black belt in 2011 with Doug James’s Chojinkai association training under Sensei Mark Holding and Sensei Ray Hind. I also still train with Abernethy’s Jissen Karate with who I also hold a Dan grade.

I am looking forward to the future with Mitsuru Karate and going from strength to strength with the club taking the students to higher levels all the time.
